Skills revitalize enterprises, intelligence leads the future. To vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor, and the spirit of craftsmanship, and to practice the cultural philosophy of “emphasizing morality, craftsmanship, and achievement,” continuously advance the implementation of the “six-fold” transformation, and lay a foundation of skilled talent for achieving the goals and tasks of the “15th Five-Year Plan,” the first China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) “Yellow River Cup” Vocational Skills Competition was officially launched at the beginning of the new year. From January 16th to 17th, the first group-level project of the competition—the Complete Vehicle Audit Review Skills Competition—kicked off at Jining Commercial Vehicle Company.
The Complete Vehicle Audit Review Skills Competition focuses on core quality aspects. Through practical competition, it further standardizes the entire audit review process, improves risk identification and problem attribution capabilities, and strengthens the product quality defense line.
This competition attracted skilled elites from the Quality Department and various vehicle manufacturing units to compete on the same stage. The contestants were fully focused, demonstrating a rigorous attitude and superb skills, exchanging ideas and showcasing their talents in the competition. After a tense and fierce competition, Wang Binbin and Cui Yang from Jinan Truck Manufacturing Company won first prize; Yang Youliang and Jia Hui from Jining Commercial Vehicle Company won second prize; and Sun Ke and Wang Xing from Jinan Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing Company won third prize.

The “Yellow River Cup” Vocational Skills Competition is an important measure taken by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on skilled personnel work and accelerate the construction of a high-quality skilled workforce that is knowledgeable, skilled, and innovative. Based on the Group’s industrial upgrading and high-quality development needs, the competition has constructed a three-tiered competition system. The first competition included 20 group-level projects, 141 second-tier company-level projects, and 180 processing department-level projects, covering emerging fields such as new energy, industrial robots, and intelligent connected vehicles, as well as traditional projects such as vehicle assembly, fitter work, welding, and CNC machining.
The Group will continue to promote the reform of its industrial workforce, stimulate the enthusiasm of employees for innovation, efficiency, and skill development, and provide solid skilled personnel support for building a world-class full-series commercial vehicle group.
