The Party Committee of Shandong Heavy Industry Group held an enlarged meeting to hear reports from the secretaries of the Party organizations of its affiliated companies and directly affiliated Party organizations on their performance in comprehensively and strictly governing the Party and on their work in strengthening grassroots Party building in 2025, and to conduct evaluations. Wang Zhijian, Party Secretary and Chairman, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Relevant comrades from the Shandong Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission attended and provided guidance.
At the meeting, the secretaries of the Party organizations of four affiliated companies gave on-site reports, while the secretaries of other Party organizations submitted written reports. Wang Zhijian provided comments on each of the on-site reports. Attendees evaluated the reports from the Party organization secretaries on comprehensively and strictly governing the Party and on their work in strengthening grassroots Party building.
The meeting pointed out that in 2025, the Party organizations of affiliated companies and directly affiliated Party organizations thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on the reform, development, and Party building of state-owned enterprises. They earnestly implemented the spirit of the provincial state-owned enterprise symposium, strengthened the political responsibility for governing the Party at all levels, and solidly promoted various tasks related to comprehensively and strictly governing the Party and strengthening grassroots Party building, thus building a solid political guarantee and consolidating organizational synergy for the high-quality development of the Group.
The meeting emphasized that in 2026, it is necessary to further shoulder and solidify the political responsibility of governing the Party and ensuring its strict discipline, continuously innovate the ideas, measures, and carriers of Party building work, and lead and guarantee high-quality development with high-quality Party building. It is essential to strengthen ideals and beliefs, further consolidate political loyalty, always regard studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the primary political task, resolutely implement the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and strengthen and optimize the high-end equipment manufacturing business. It is crucial to adhere to strengthening the foundation and consolidating the fundamentals, further enhance the building of strong fighting fortresses, improve the mechanism for the role of grassroots Party organizations and Party members, and promote the deep integration of Party building work with production and operation.
