Sinotruk Group Global Partner Conference and Green Intelligent Product Exhibition held in Hanoi, Vietnam

On July 22, the Shandong Heavy Industry Group Global Partner Conference and Green Intelligent Product Exhibition, themed “Technology Empowering, Equipment for a Better Future,” grandly opened at the Hanoi Convention and Exhibition Center in Vietnam. Truong Thanh Hoai, Vice Minister of Industry and Trade of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Sun Fenglei, President of the Vietnam-China General Chamber of Commerce, and Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Nearly 1,600 partners from 62 countries around the world gathered to discuss new opportunities for cooperation in the green and intelligent industry and to jointly plan for a new future of globalization.

Truong Thanh Hoai, on behalf of the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, congratulated the conference, stating that Vietnam has formulated policies for the green, clean, and sustainable development of industry, energy, and logistics. The new technology solutions showcased by Shandong Heavy Industry align with Vietnam’s development direction of green transportation, digital transformation, and improving the quality of logistics infrastructure, and also open up many new opportunities for cooperation between enterprises of both countries. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to cooperate with various ministries and localities to improve mechanisms and policies, enhance the business environment, promote green development, and create favorable conditions for domestic and foreign enterprises. The conference included signing ceremonies for projects such as SOFC, electric buses, electric heavy trucks, commercial vehicle powertrains, AI bulldozers, intelligent agricultural machinery, and electric light trucks, deepening strategic cooperation in global green and intelligent equipment.

Shandong Heavy Industry showcased several new achievements in green and intelligent equipment.

Weichai unveiled its microgrid solution for the first time, targeting the urgent market needs of accelerated global computing infrastructure development, the popularization of zero-carbon industrial parks, and the intelligent upgrading of remote mining areas. The solution deeply integrates diverse core equipment such as hybrid energy power plants, mobile photovoltaics, energy storage, integrated storage and charging units, and SOFC (solid oxide fuel cell) power generation systems, providing customers with a low-cost, low-emission, and highly reliable one-stop, implementable, and fully closed-loop power energy solution. Simultaneously, Weichai’s mining scenario energy solution, integrating “source, grid, load, storage, and control,” was showcased for the first time.

China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) promoted its integrated new energy ecosystem solution, overseas application scenarios, and after-sales service system. CNHTC has developed a new energy vehicle lineup covering pure electric, range-extended, and hydrogen fuel cell technologies, spanning the entire spectrum from light to heavy trucks. This lineup is fully adaptable to diverse domestic and international application scenarios, including cross-border trunk lines, port distribution, mining engineering, and cold chain transportation. CNHTC also offers various energy replenishment and charging/swapping solutions, creating an integrated ecosystem solution of “vehicle + energy + digital + service.”

Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck Group (Shaanxi Heavy Truck) launched its Shacman E series products, covering three major routes: pure electric charging, bottom-mounted electric replacement, and hybrid. These products are maturely adapted to core heavy truck usage scenarios in Southeast Asia, including long-haul logistics, port short-haul transportation, engineering construction, urban construction mixing, and mining transportation, creating a new energy green transportation capacity matrix covering all scenarios and all technical routes.

Zhongtong Bus launched its new M6E European-style wide-body light commercial vehicle, targeting the high-end business travel market. It builds a new generation of mobility solutions with its robust product strength. The new vehicle is built on a dedicated light commercial vehicle platform, adopts the iconic Galaxy family design language, and boasts a drag coefficient as low as 0.37. Meanwhile, the independent luxury cockpit, high-rigidity cage-type safety body, and multi-dimensional NVH noise reduction technology complement each other, creating a luxurious and quiet driving atmosphere and offering flexible and controllable vehicle advantages.

Shantui introduced its intelligent construction solutions and a full range of new energy engineering machinery equipment. Its Intelligent Driving SSC2.0 has achieved commercial implementation of L4-level high-level unmanned operation. By integrating intelligent machinery, Shantui has built a complete construction solution from filling and leveling to compaction, and has completed more than 70 smart construction projects globally. It possesses a full range of pure electric and AI-powered equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and road rollers, providing various energy solutions.

Lovol Heavy Industry has launched a comprehensive new energy product solution, fully adaptable to diverse business scenarios. Currently, Lovol’s excavators, loaders, and mining trucks have all achieved large-scale mass production and market delivery of new energy models. The company has established three mature core technology routes: pure electric, electric tractor, and range-extended hybrid, simultaneously supporting facilities such as mobile energy storage vehicles, battery swapping vehicles, and professional charging stations, achieving tiered cost reduction through differentiated power systems.

Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture launched three new energy tractors: a 25-horsepower pure electric tractor suitable for backyard gardening, and a 50-horsepower electric tractor specifically designed for dairy farm operations, providing clean and efficient operating solutions for specialty planting and urban agriculture. The 410hp ECVT hybrid tractor, specifically developed for heavy-duty field operations, excels in high-intensity conditions such as deep tillage, land preparation, sowing, and heavy-load transportation. It boasts stronger power, lower fuel consumption, higher operational efficiency, and superior driving comfort. Several core smart agriculture technologies, including intelligent driving, are also introduced.

KION Group unveiled its AI-powered intelligent warehouse innovation. Centered on KION’s self-developed MyMA full-stack software platform, it enables six-way shuttle operation and dynamic reconfiguration of storage aisles. Compared to traditional automated warehousing systems, space utilization can be improved by approximately 30%. The system incorporates artificial intelligence algorithms that periodically analyze and continuously optimize business data, inventory layout, operational paths, and equipment resources, transforming warehousing from passive execution to intelligent decision-making, agilely responding to various changes, and providing customers with flexible automation solutions.
