Sinotruk Group | Debuts at the Saba Saba Expo | Focuses on the Tanzanian Market

The 49th Tanzania International Trade Fair recently commenced, with China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (Sinotruk) making a strong appearance by showcasing its best-selling models, powertrain systems, and components, becoming a major highlight of the exhibition.

On the opening day, Chinese Ambassador to Tanzania Chen Mingjian visited the Sinotruk booth and highly commended the company’s contributions to Tanzania’s transportation and infrastructure development. President Hossein Ali Mwinyi of Zanzibar also visited the booth, stating: “Sinotruk’s high-quality commercial vehicles have not only significantly enhanced Tanzania’s logistics efficiency but also cultivated a large pool of local technical talent, serving as a model for China-Tanzania industrial cooperation.”

At this exhibition, Sinotruk showcased a series of flagship models tailored to Tanzania’s market conditions, including tractor trucks, dump trucks, and cargo trucks. The event highlighted Sinotruk’s latest advancements in adaptive upgrades and intelligent configurations. Additionally, Sinotruk unveiled its new HOWO-NX 8×4 CNG model, equipped with an MT13-430 horsepower engine, offering extended range and environmental performance.

Sinotruk has established a comprehensive sales and service network in Tanzania, comprising three 4S dealerships and twelve service centers. Over the next three years, the company plans to further enhance service coverage to achieve full accessibility along Tanzania’s major economic corridors. This high-profile appearance at the Sabasaba Trade Fair not only demonstrates Sinotruk’s global capabilities and product strength but also underscores its steadfast commitment to Tanzania and the broader East African market.
