Sinotruk enhances its service capabilities to support development in the Latin American market.

Company News|08.08.2026

Deepening Our Presence in Overseas Markets, with Service as Our Guiding Principle. As Sinotruk continues to refine its product portfolio and steadily increase sales in the Latin American market, local customers are placing higher demands on the professionalism, timeliness, and comprehensiveness of after-sales service. Sinotruk is continuously strengthening its localized service capabilities, investing in the development of local talent, and comprehensively improving its after-sales support system to drive growth in the Latin American market through enhanced service capabilities.

Since 2026, CNHTC’s Latin America region has focused on enhancing the capabilities of service personnel by organizing professional competitions to create a platform for cross-border technical exchange and competition. In July, the Latin America regional round of CNHTC’s Second Elite Instructor Skills Competition was successfully held in Mexico, where nine outstanding service engineers from five countries competed against one another. The competition covered core modules such as theoretical assessments, course instruction, fault diagnosis, and hands-on repairs, comprehensively testing the participants’ overall service capabilities. Ultimately, three outstanding engineers advanced to the China-wide finals. The event not only established a platform for sharing experiences and exchanging technical knowledge but also laid a solid foundation for building a professional, localized, and high-caliber after-sales service team in Latin America.

In response to market development needs for products such as new energy vehicles, light trucks, and pickup trucks, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group (CNHTC) formed a dedicated team of technical experts to conduct touring training sessions across multiple Latin American countries. The new energy team traveled to markets including Mexico and Bolivia, where they delivered specialized instruction—combining theory with hands-on practice—on topics such as high-voltage safety, electric drive systems, power batteries, vehicle control, fault diagnosis, and repair, thereby addressing service personnel’s gaps in new energy vehicle maintenance. The light truck and pickup truck teams conducted customized training in markets such as Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and Venezuela. By analyzing typical case studies to break down technical challenges and simultaneously conducting market research, they precisely aligned their efforts with customer needs. Through regular, professional on-site training, they have effectively enhanced after-sales maintenance capabilities for key products in the region.

Moving forward, China National Heavy Duty Truck Group will continue to prioritize customer needs, further strengthen service capacity building, and support high-quality development in the Latin American market through professional and efficient international services.
