A grand gathering celebrating the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, awarded medals to recipients of the “July 1st Medal” and delivered an important speech. Shandong Heavy Industry Group organized all its cadres and Party members to listen to and watch the grand event.
The gathering opened with the solemn national anthem. All attendees listened attentively to General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, jointly reviewing the glorious 105-year history of the Communist Party of China, deeply appreciating the great achievements the Party has led the people to make, inheriting and carrying forward the excellent qualities forged through trials and tribulations of the Communist Party of China, further strengthening their faith, and consciously shouldering their mission and responsibilities. Everyone agreed that General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech was far-sighted, profound, and inspiring. They pledged to earnestly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, firmly uphold the “two establishments,” resolutely achieve the “two safeguards,” focus on the “big picture” of national development and provincial development, deeply cultivate the core business of high-end equipment manufacturing, fulfill their job responsibilities, remember their original aspirations and missions, take initiative, never slacken, always stand at the forefront, and always strive for excellence, relentlessly working towards making China’s equipment manufacturing industry world-class in the new era and on the new journey.

During the “July 1st” period, Shandong Heavy Industry Group’s subsidiaries held a series of activities to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Weichai held a staff chorus concert themed “Continuing Glory, Winning the Future,” China National Heavy Duty Truck Group held a staff chorus competition themed “Singing the New Journey with Forever True to the Party,” Shantui Construction Machinery Group held a “Red Heart Towards the Party, Standing Firm to the End” July 1st knowledge contest, Zhongtong Bus organized a staff red song performance themed “Singing Red Songs to Praise the Party’s Grace, Striving for a New Journey,” Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture planned a special July 1st event themed “Red Melodies, Sound and Image Casting the Soul,” and conducted themed red education at the Menglianggu Battle Memorial Hall. Shandong Heavy Industry Finance Company organized a viewing of the film “Four Crossings,” among others. Through these unique activities, the subsidiaries revisited the Party’s glorious century-long journey, cultivated the patriotic sentiments of all cadres and employees, and united to forge a powerful force for a new journey and a new era.
