On April 9th, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony between Shandong Heavy Industry and Tianjin University was held in Tianjin. Yang Xianjin, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin University, met with Wang Zhijian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry, and his delegation. Chai Liyuan, President of Tianjin University, attended the meeting and witnessed the signing.

Ma Changhai, Member of the Party Committee and Vice General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry, and Wang Tianyou, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Tianjin University, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective parties. According to the agreement, both parties will conduct a list-based cooperation in areas such as talent cultivation and industry-education integration, platform co-construction and system building, scientific and technological cooperation and achievement transformation, business consulting, resource sharing and support, to deepen and solidify the strategic cooperation.
The Shandong Heavy Industry delegation also visited the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Internal Combustion Power.
