The Shandong Heavy Industry Group-Weichai Power Global Partner Conference, themed “Technology Empowers Better Equipment,” opened with great fanfare at the Qingdao Hongdao International Convention and Exhibition Center. Ren Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Man Shengang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Shandong Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, attended the conference and delivered speeches. Wang Zhijian, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, delivered a keynote speech and presented awards to outstanding overseas strategic partners. Ye Jianjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and Chairman of the Labor Union, presented awards to outstanding overseas employees. Nearly 3,000 partners and overseas employees from over 140 countries gathered to renew friendships and discuss development.

Ren Gang briefed on the development of Qingdao. He expressed his hope that Shandong Heavy Industry, together with its partners, would enter Qingdao, choose Qingdao, and establish a presence in Qingdao, jointly creating a more prosperous future.

Man Shengang briefed on the development of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises in Shandong. In recent years, SHIG has maintained a strong momentum of high-quality development with a spirit of unwavering commitment, constant leadership, and unwavering pursuit of excellence. The conference officially launched Shandong Heavy Industry’s global brand logo. Ren Gang, Man Shengang, Wang Zhijian, representatives of strategic partners, and overseas employees jointly unveiled the logo.

The conference also unveiled a new brand mission: “Technology Empowers Equipment for a Better Future.”

At the conference, Shandong Heavy Industry Group signed strategic cooperation agreements with Huawei Digital New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, focusing on overseas market collaboration.

The conference awarded 40 outstanding overseas strategic partners and 30 outstanding overseas employees.

Huawei, Sinosure, and Shandong Heavy Industry’s major domestic and international subsidiaries showcased their products.

During the event, Shandong Heavy Industry also held a new product showcase, showcasing its six major business units with new products and technologies, fully demonstrating the group’s product portfolio advantages and core technological strengths.
