Jinan Truck Manufacturing Company, focusing on key quality positions, is implementing a skill-building initiative encompassing key process operating standards, handling of abnormal issues, and quality self-inspection and prevention. They are rigorously implementing self-inspection and mutual inspection of process quality, and strictly controlling quality supervision and inspection, striving to overcome difficult quality control issues. At the same time, they are carrying out in-depth lean improvement activities, emphasizing the practicality and effectiveness of projects, effectively transforming problems into research projects and concepts into measures. This is driving steady improvement in quality control through tangible innovative achievements.

To promote the “Zero Kilometer Problem Elimination” initiative, Jinan Axle Company is implementing a zero-defect, zero-tolerance quality policy. Through a quality “look back” campaign, they are comprehensively reviewing quality issues from the first quarter and addressing them one by one, striving to break through the bottleneck. At the same time, 21 designated projects were fully promoted, focusing on the “zero kilometer” challenge and significantly improving process quality.

Optimizing models and creating a collaborative innovation ecosystem

Jinan Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing Company innovated its order organization approach and established a multi-party linkage mechanism to rationally plan and balance the production of specialized models such as special-purpose vehicles, all-wheel drive vehicles, and new energy vehicles, along with accessory cab assemblies, to maximize production efficiency. By strengthening the control of production and distribution consistency rates and implementing proactive material resource alerts, the company achieved a production consistency rate exceeding 98%. Regular collaboration with relevant Group departments was strengthened to ensure continued improvement in order delivery rates and maintain a stable daily output of 165 vehicles per shift, achieving the goal of reducing shifts without reducing production.

Jinan Truck Manufacturing Company implemented precise policies in task assignment, production organization, and on-site implementation, shifting from “delegated” management to “on-site” control. It established an efficient communication mechanism and effectively enhanced the front-line work capabilities of management. Through measures such as on-site presence of top leaders, full employee participation in quality supervision, and the development of standardized quality control processes, the company continuously optimized and improved its quality management capabilities, motivating employees to strive for excellence and produce high-quality products.

Reducing costs and increasing efficiency to stimulate endogenous growth

To fully achieve the budgeted targets of increasing production by 15% and reducing all-cabinet costs by nearly 10%, Jinan Axle Company coordinated efforts across all levels, with full employee participation, to deepen comprehensive cost control throughout the entire process, identify loopholes in cost control, and fully implement 87 cost-reduction measures throughout the year. Through equipment modifications and process improvements, tooling and equipment upgrades were promoted to reduce overall energy consumption and improve production efficiency.

Jinan Engine Plant implemented a press-fitting improvement project for front cover oil seal press-fitting equipment, enabling real-time pressure displacement monitoring and data anomaly alarms. By modifying the press head structure and adding a stopper step, the plant eliminated the impact of front cover blank size variations on press-fit depth. Through dedicated research on 18 cost-reduction projects, including those related to tooling, fuel costs, utilities, repair costs, and auxiliary materials, the company achieved revenue of 1.5049 million yuan.
